My name is Sarah-Marie (aka smad) and I am the owner of Shop Dressr. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my brand a little better. It is so important that I share my mission with you, so you fully understand how I got here today.

I am proud to say that I am Canadian Educated. I was blessed to attend Brock University and obtain my degree in Sport Management. While attending Brock, I was accepted to an exciting University exchange program that allowed me to study abroad at the University of Florida in Gainsville, FL. While on exchange, I was surrounded by students who loved their schools, loved their cities and really wore their heart on their sleeve when it came to their post secondary education. I was obsessed with all things Gators gear and wanted to bring that pride back to Canada and on to our campuses.

Fast forward four years and I am attending Queen's homecoming with my boyfriend Paolo. As I wasn't a Gael myself, I wanted a piece of clothing that told the story - "I don't go here, but go Gaels nonetheless'. I designed a sweater in my Etobicoke basement apartment and got to work. Rocking an 'I Kissed a Gael & I liked It' sweater to homecoming, I was bombarded with students asking where they could get one of their own. Realizing there was a market for this type of apparel, Shop Dressr was born.

Shop Dressr was made for Canadians, by Canadians - to give University students fashion forward clothing options that they will be excited to wear on campus and post grad. We are excited to have entered the boutique space to help students and grads alike find their voice in their clothing that is curated with a student conscious budget in mind.
